RTV from the RNC

The Republicans are employing MTV-like tactics to attract youth voters to their cause, according to story on Adage.com today (registration required). Splashy graphics, CJs roaming the convention floor, packaging and shortening are all methods the Republicans will be using. Not so different from FOX News. So did FOX News copy MTV and then all the other cable news nets copy FOX News?
