MTV Plans Wireless Portal; Free Friendster VoIP

Spotted this one on Paid Content (from New Media Zero) -- MTV is going to launch its own direct portal in order to sidestep mobil operators who currently offer its content. In sorta related news, the Media Post (registration required) reports that Friendster will offer free Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) called "The Friendster Phone" powered by GloPhone, Voiceglo's Web- and PC-based phone service, allowing users to make free calls to their friends anywhere, anytime.
