Maybe They're Just Looking at the Pictures
Posted by anastasia on 05-13-2005I found an interesting stat in a Media Post, reg. required, commentary drawn from a recent study conducted by the U.S. government on American time use. Adage.com, reg. required, also has a story on the study. The Media Post pointed out this shocking teen reading stat:
"Teens spend just seven minutes a day, or a mere 3.5 hours a month reading content held in their hands that is not connected to the Internet."
Then asks the question:
"Given the number of teen-oriented magazines that claim to own this demographic's attention, don't you think this number is surprisingly low?"
