Blogging About Gen Y Goes Mainstream
Posted by anastasia on 07-07-2006I've written about the new crop of "Gen Y" blogs that have popped up since I started Ypulse back in '04. My list of blogs about youth by adults on the right-hand side continues to grow. Now USA Today and The News Hour (PBS) have launched Generation Next, "the world through its eyes" about what's happening in the lives of 16-25 year olds. According to their welcome post:
"Over the next several months you'll see stories (in text and video) about this generation. What we're talking about. What we're thinking. What we believe in. We're doing research over the phone and on the road. As part of the MacNeil/Lehrer team, we're taking several trips, via RV, to different parts of the USA to do interviews. We also have a video setup - we're calling it a kiosk - in the RV to ask Gen Nexters questions relevant to them."
I'm really flattered they linked to Ypulse. I am returning the link and am excited to see what this team of reporters comes up. I hope they post some pictures of the RV, too.
