Cool Jew Review
Posted by anastasia on 07-10-2006I'll admit it — I was a bit of a self-hating Jew for a lot of years growing up in Nashville, TN. But we did hang out with a group of cute Jewish guys in eighth grade we nicknamed "the Jew Crew." We would go to movies, school dances and get into other forms of mischief as well. I remember making out with one of my favorite Jew crew members at a Temple sleepover in a location that would make Abraham, Moses and Elijah turn over in their graves. This sidebar on Salon.com (daypass or subscription required) should give all of my fellow Tribesmen and women a sense of pride and hope that there are some hip Jewish men (in Hollywood) for our younger sisters to swoon over. The article about Jewish men in pop culture is pretty interesting, too.
