Mini-Essentials: Sites Worth Checking Out

Rather than posting a lengthy Essentials post, I'm breaking today's round-up into two. Here are some interesting finds worth checking out:

Hey JoshAdvice with attitude (it's "Hey Josh" a Ze Frank-like vlogger who gives advice to teens)

- Battling it out on MyYearbook (Ypulse advertiser MyYearbook just launched a new feature that will remind you of your high school yearbook!) (press release)

- It's just a Phling (new mobile music social networking site aimed at youth)

- Are Webkinz the new Neopets? (stuffed toys with virtual counterparts becoming popular with tweens) (MLive.com)

- Girls Go Tech (cool micro-site from the Girl Scouts designed to promote girls' participation in math, science and technology)

- Cleaning up kids' [and adults'] digital trails (a new company called ReputationDefender has sprung up to meet this need) (The Journal News)
