LX.TV Talks To Ben Goldhirsh About GOOD
Posted by anastasia on 02-01-2007The folks at LX.TV, which is basically broadband video content for young wealthy people, sent me this interview with Ben Goldhirsh, who happens to be the young wealthy person behind GOOD, which I've covered before on Ypulse. It's sponsored by Absolute so there's a vodka ad before the interview and MTV's SuChin Pak (who also was a host on "Trackers," the short lived teen show I worked on at Oxygen) takes place over drinks at a bar. There is also a vodka oriented drink making message at the end. All the subscription money from GOOD goes to non-profit orgs - Ben says they've given over $250K already (not bad). It's probably "good" (no pun intended) that they're positioning GOOD as a multi-media brand (magazine, film, conferences, Web, etc.) since I don't think the print magazine is going to really spread beyond its niche audience of young people who still read magazines AND are interested in doing GOOD.
