Ypulse Essentials

Note from Anastasia: Sorry about the light posting today, getting ready to go record some audio for the book and then off to the Monroe Township Library to speak. A BIG thank you to all my NYC supporters who came out for the book launch last night. I'll post some photos when I get back to San Francisco.

Kevin FederlineLost online? (SearchWithKevin.com...Yes, that Kevin) (L.A. Times, reg. required)

- CBS buys MaxPreps (the high school sports space is heating up -- first Sports Illustrated and Takkle, now this...MaxPreps is also a former Ypulse advertiser - congrats!) (Media Life Magazine, 3rd item)

- Healthy vending machines (I thought this seems sort of cool, if schools have to have em' to make some extra money, might as well be healthy) (Influx)

- NPR is so 'Zack' (the name of their new "hipper" show for younger listeners. The Boston Globe article says: "We thought Zack is exactly the kind of name NPR staffers would give their male children"...um, ok...I blogged about PRI's attempt to reach younger listeners, Fair Game, the other week - thanks Rachel!)

- CollegeHotList (look for more companies like these to pop up with Facebook now being open to anyone)

- 'Total Reques' Taped (MTV may not have axed "TRL" yet, but they're taping to save money - thanks Eric!) (AP via Yahoo! News)

- Relight NY (the organization behind the JWT "green teens" press release yesterday...see more coverage in AdAge, reg. required)

- Time out for watches? (what's a watchmaker to do in the cell phone/iPod era?) (BusinessWeek)

- Cyberbullying is global (cell phones are "WMDs" in Japan)
