TeenCrunchTeenCrunch (New aggregator site combines some popular MySpace ecosystem sites and others and claims to surpass the total traffic of Seventeen.com, CosmoGirl.com, Piczo.com, TagWorld.com and all eCrush.com sites combined. Wow. TeenCrunch includes TeenHollywood, Iconator, mp3Masher, LyricsSpot, DollWizard, and FVX)

- TRU acquired (Teen Research Unlimited is now owned by Research International) (press release)

- Declare Yourself (is back for the next election with new spokespeople America Ferrera and Hayden Panettiere and new partnerships with MySpace and Friendster)

- Drew Barrymore may be the new face of CoverGirl (but teens prefer MAC) (BrandWeek) (Media Post, reg. required)

- TeenPeople.com folds (the end of an era...Flip offers scholarship money...Rollingstone.com attempts to reinvent itself as a social network and Hearst plans to go green with a new environmentally conscious website) (MediaWeek) (We Want Media)

- BuzzFree (new cause marketing campaign designed to get teens not to drink at prom)

- Tweens still love 'Drake & Josh' (evidently more than Sanjaya - it's buried in the charts in this week's Younger Viewers rating wrap up) (Media Life Magazine)

- Pure Video... (gets UpClose with Hollywood in a new site)

- FTC not happy (about violent content being marketed to the younger demo) (AdWeek)

- Takkle partners (with the High School Coaches Association) (press release)

P.S. Check out this Totally Wired interview I did "in the studio" to help promote the book. The interviewer? My very cool brother-in-law, Marc!
