- Is Gen Y more tolerant of surveillance? (that's one way of framing young people's willingness to share all on Facebook) (The Nation via Alternet)

- Gender in Media Conference 2008 (this looks amazing -- if any readers are attending and would like to blog about it for the Ypulse community, please get in touch)

- PSAs for preschoolers ("Sprout" wants tots to be healthy) (press release)

- MyG-Life (DIY game design site for kids) (BBC)

- Going.com (social networking around events -- see where the cool kids are hanging out)

- New ad network target college students (Advanced Student Marketing launching -- includes StudentsHangOut, Cramster, CampusTech, CollegeCram, CampusGrotto and an exclusive agreement with Pick-a-Prof.com.) (Media Post, reg. required)

P.S. Check out this virginity loss map on Current.com -- the average age for losing it globally is over 17! And before there was "Juno," we had..."For Keeps."

RE "Is Gen Y more tolerant of surveillance?"

People sharing facts about themselves they choose, doesn't mean that they want the gov't to spy on them.

It shouldn't be taken as support for Bush's warrantless wiretapping.
