Leaving Home

For those of you who have been following my personal evolution from part-time blogger or Ypulse as side passion project to full time founder of Ypulse, LLC (as of September 2006), Monday will mark another milestone for me. I have decided to rent a desk in an office in San Francisco. For any of you work-at-home readers, you know that the time comes where working in your PJs until 2 p.m. starts to feel gross. I've hit that wall and am craving boundaries around Ypulse, which has taken over my home life. This Monday, I will wake up early, take a shower (my husband will be so pleased) and go to my new digs at 11th and Folsom to update the site. I'm just trying it out to see if it helps this feeling of one day blurring into the next.

P.S. I had a big strategy meeting with my partners at Modern Media in Oakland this week -- we will be announcing some very cool plans in the near future so stay tuned...

The work-at-home lifestyle is wonderful but yes...the all day jammies thing (along with the working till 3am thing) can certainly start to wear on you after a while. A new routine is always good, and there is definitley something to be said for leaving work issues at the office. Good for you!

Best wishes on your change of lifestyle/workstyle, Anastasia. Enjoy...and keep us posted.

WAHM living is by far the best form of lifestyle for me. But you must be sure you manage your time wisely. Otherwise, you'll burn out and not be able to spend quality and productive time at work and also for other personal concerns.

Congrats!
