not sure how they'd get around it...but I hope Facebook stays strong with it's policies on e-mail verification for student accounts.

Those teens could just get normal accounts through their parents, and let their friends know they can connect through those.

"Radio Disney has built a strong connection with millions of kids and tweens who have driven recording artists including Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers to the top of the charts and Multi-Platinum-selling status,"

That is funny.... as I always say... "Does anybody remembered what happened to the Jonas Brothers after being a Top 10 artist on Radio Disney for 6 months?"

-The got dropped by their label
-They sold less the 40,000 copies

Disney's Hollywood Records signed them and within one week of airing their video on Disney Channel

-They had a Top 10 Video on iTunes
-They had a Top 10 Song on iTunes

**The same song Radio Disney had already been playing for 7 months?

It's interesting to see them wanting to leave their '1-800' calls statistics they've been using for years to prove their audience. It has always inflated their real reach - something they won't get with Arbitron.

One other VERY interesting fact. He didn't mention High School Musical? The album was already at the top of the charts by the time Radio Disney played a song from the movie.
