Hmm.. not sure if you'd label Miley the "Queen of the Kids' Choice" as the article did considering she got beat in one category? Best TV Show went to Drake & Josh instead of Hannah Montana. I find this very interesting, granted these are Nick kids voting.

I thought it was wild that Drake & Josh even beat out iCarly! I was glad they won-- they're the one show that doesn't seem to be going further (?) and it seemed like a legit win. Plus... when did Drake turn into an artsy Ewan McGregor?
And props to Josh Peck for losing all that weight. I can't wait to see if he turns into the next Shia LeBeouf.

"we've been cracking down on "groups of teens" hanging out in public spaces here since I was a teen"
America has public spaces? Could've fooled me, at least down here in Orlando...
And yes, as a recent emigre from the UK, feral children (ages 3-30) do run out of control in most town centres.
The idea of being able to walk through the city centre at night without looking over your shoulder or being able to leave things lying around outside without having to bolt them to the ground was quite a culture shock when I first arrived here. Sad, but true.
Having said that, I do miss the vibrancy of the nightlife in the UK - for all it's violence and drunken debauchery there's still a fantastic youth culture in major cities like London and Manchester.

Hi Gareth. I was referring to the spate of mall curfews that have been put into place across the country (U.S.) requiring teens to be accompanied by guardians at specific times. From my own experience, me and my friends were banned from "loitering" on Elliston Place in Nashville long ago.
