I really enjoyed reading the article about JC Penney targeting teens; particularly the stores where they shop. As an author of YA fiction, I've always wondered about approaching these stores and seeing if they would be open to carrying teen books. I'm sure that's considered niche marketing and wondered if any of the major publishers (I'm published nontraditionally)have thought about trying to market there. Would you know anything about this? Would you know if something like this has tried and failed? I'd like to know. Thanks
