Disney knows what boys like… (their own channel. The L.A. Times, reg. required, on the relaunch Toon Disney as Disney XD, for tween boys - the image is of Kelly Blatz who will star in Disney XD's "Aaron Stone." Plus Disney "leading Hollywood to the video game Holy Grail." And guess who's been reaching teen boys for like forever? Weird Al!) (Portfolio via Wired) (The Telegraph)
- Best Western launches a ugc video contest (for those teens and college students who need a break from their non-existent summer jobs…And Patagonia launches an environmental voting guide.)
- The 'subway ad artist' (doesn't really like the new "Gossip Girl" ads. Plus pregnancy pact? What pregnancy pact? Gloucester girls say the media made it up on NBC's "Baby Borrowers Reunion") (Gothamist) (Jezebel)
- 'American Mall' premieres tonight Monday (Casey's take is here. Plus the New York Times, reg. required, rounds up a bunch of web-only fashion zines democratizing the role of Anna Wintour. And Nike's "Beautiful Losers" opens in NYC, L.A. and SF this weekend) (Reality TV News) (Salon.com, daypass or sub required)
- Village Voice launches boy geek blog (and a girl geek blog)
- Ozzy on 'Guitar Hero' (and Warner Music says these games need to pay more for licensing) (USA Today) (Idolator)
- 'Mama I'm coming home' ("This year, 77 percent of college grads moved back home with their parents after graduation, up from 73 percent last year and 67 percent the year before." And out of all the "generations at work," a new survey finds Gen Y is the least engaged. Plus corporations now widely adopting video games as training tools for those hard to engage Millennials) (Silicon Valley Business Journal) (Forbes)
- Campuses encouraging students to go car-free ("to save money on gas, save the environment and promote physical fitness") (USA Today)

Not sure what they meant by the headline American Mall premieres 'tonight' - when it doesn't? Perhaps this was posted earlier than planned or nobody bothered to double check the dates listed in the article.

Oops. Thanks for catching that Tommy. I just read the headline, which was misleading. Made the correction — The American Mall premiers Monday night!
